Joslyn Castle even if you’re not a history buff, I recommend you sign up for a tour! The tours are affordable; $10/person. This tour takes you through not just the history of the castle but also the architectural meanings and concepts. The castle also offers its self as a venue for parties and weddings.
Gifford Park nice little park, clean, well lighted & well kept. lots of kids playing there weeknights but its a ghost town by 8:30 p.m. because bedtime by 9.
Turner Parkhas wide number of events during the summer which will keep your calendar full. The park is big enough for you to play Frisbee and is well maintained. It even has a concert venue on the east side of the park and ping pong tables on the west side. There are few parking spots near the park. best place to park would be a parking lot across the street on Farnam street.
